Lorenzo's Oil

Lorenzo’s Oil is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Lorenzo’s Oil is a blend of four parts Glycerol Trioleate (GTO) and one part Glycerol Trierucate (GTE) oils. For use in children and adults for the dietary management of Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) and Adrenomyeloneuropathy (AMN). Lorenzo’s Oil is usually given in conjunction with a low fat diet restricting hexacosanoic acid (C26:0) and may be taken on its own or mixed with permitted foods. Due to the restricted nature of the diet, it may be necessary to supplement the diet with a source of essential fatty acids such as walnut oil.

MSUD Anamix Junior is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Locasol

Locasol is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Locasol is a nutritionally incomplete powdered feed containing cow's milk protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamins, minerals and trace elements with a very low calcium content and no vitamin D added. For the dietary management of disorders of calcium metabolism (e.g. hypercalcaemia/uria or osteopetrosis), where an extreme restriction of calcium and vitamin D is required. Milupa Basic-F

Food for special medical purposes. Dietary foods for disorders of lipid metabolism n.b. fat malabsorption and/or maldigestion, chylothorax, congenital defects of β-oxidation, requiring a diet restricted in fat or a diet adapted in fat. To be used under medical supervision.

Milupa basic-f is a powdered dietary food, very low in fat (<0.1 g/100 ml), contains a mix of cow's milk protein, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Each 100 grams of Milupa basic-f provides 14.1 grams of protein.

Milupa basic-f is not suitable as a sole power source.
