Fortimel Compact Protein is a food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition.
For use under medical supervision only, Fortimel Compact Protein is a 125ml, high protein, high energy oral nutritional supplement in a liquid form. It contains minerals, vitamins and trace elements, providing 18g of protein and 300kcal in a 125ml bottle.
Fortimel Compact Protein has been specially formulated to deliver high nutrient density in a small volume to meet the needs of patients who are unable to finish a standard volume (200ml) oral nutritional supplement.
Compact Protein has a low glycemic index (≤55), determined using ISO standard 26642:2010
Available in the following flavours: Neutral, Banana, Berries, Mocha, Peach, Mango, Strawberry, Vanilla, Cool red fruits and Hot tropical ginger.
This product is intended to support the dietary requirements of various patients with disease-related malnutrition, such as patients with cancer, when the daily diet alone is no longer sufficient to cover their nutritional needs.
