FortiCare is a food for special medical purposes for the dietary management of cachexia in oncology patients.
For use under medical supervision only, FortiCare is a nutritionally complete, high energy (1.6kcal/ml), high protein, ready to drink, oral nutritional product. It is enriched with n-3 fatty acids, antioxidants and fibre.
FortiCare can be used to supplement the diet of patients unable to meet their nutritional requirements from other foods or used as a sole source of nutrition.
Ingredients (Cappuccino flavour*) Demineralised water, glucose syrup, cow’s milk protein, trehalose, sugar, vegetable oils (corn oil, rapeseed oil), dietary fibres (oligofructose, inulin, cellulose, resistant starch), fish oil, flavourings, potassium citrate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate, magnesium hydrogen phosphate, choline chloride, carotenoids ((contains soy) ( β-carotene, lutein, lycopene)), colour (sulphite ammonia caramel), sodium L-ascorbate, magnesium carbonate, potassium hydroxide, maltodextrin, taurine, L-carnitine, DLα-tocopheryl acetate, ferrous lactate, zinc sulphate, nicotinamide, sodium selenite, manganese sulphate, copper gluconate, retinyl acetate, calcium D-pantothenate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, chromium chloride, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, D-biotin, cholecalciferol, thiamin hydrochloride, sodium molybdate, riboflavin, sodium fluoride, potassium iodide, cyanocobalamin, phytomenadione.
FortiCare is gluten and lactose free.
